Client Services

Green provides a full spectrum of civil and structural engineering services to both public and private sector clients through our four (4) Technical Divisions: Transportation Engineering; Structural Engineering; Water Resources Engineering; and Civil/Site Engineering. In addition, Green also provides land surveying, landscape architecture, and construction inspection services to support our in-house engineering divisions and to serve our clients directly.

Transportation Engineering

Green’s Transportation Division provides a broad range of roadway and traffic engineering services for urban and roadway design, traffic signal design, pedestrian and bicycle facilities design and traffic impact studies. As a multi-disciplined engineering firm, Green provides other ancillary services related to transportation projects, including water pipeline improvements, sewer and drainage improvements, utility relocation/improvements, environmental permitting and structural evaluation.

Structural Engineering - Bridges

Green’s Structural Division has been responsible for the design of numerous bridges for transportation projects throughout New England as well as inspection and rating analyses for numerous bridges and culverts. We strive to ensure that the structures we design are functional, cost effective and aesthetically pleasing. Our goal for bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects is to minimize adverse impacts to communities and environmental resources while improving safety to the general public.

Structural Engineering - Buildings

Green's Structural Division also provides design and construction services for building projects. We support architects on both renovation and new building projects. We also work directly for facility owners. Our staff is experienced with RAM Structural Systems software, as well as RISA 3D, GSA, and SAFE. From structural support for building renovations to new six (6) story buildings, Green's Structural Division can provide responsive, cost effective service to help Owners and Architects meet their project goals.

Water Resources Engineering

Providing quality design and construction services on time for major water and sewer projects, as well as being a leader in stormwater and floodplain management, Green is helping its clients to provide safe drinking water, reduce CSO's, protect receiving waters and reduce flood damage costs throughout New England.

Civil/Site Engineering

With a reputation as a team player that always delivers on time, Green provides quality civil engineering services to architects and project owners in support of public, institutional, and private site development projects, including projects seeking LEED certification.

Survey

Green understands that it is vital to begin any engineering project with a complete and accurate existing conditions plan. Green’s Survey Division provides comprehensive land surveying services in support of engineering projects ranging from FEMA flood studies, underground utility inspection and mapping, right of way and boundary survey, roadway and railroad bridge rehabilitation / replacement, site grading and roadway design for state and local agencies. With an experienced staff of field crews and office technicians led by a Professional Land Surveyor licensed in MA and NH, we can tailor the base mapping deliverable to fit a number of public agency or private client cad standards.

Landscape Architecture

Providing landscape architectural services allows us to consider planting and site design features early in the design process and meaningfully incorporate them into our projects. We have experience in landscape design associated with roadway, bikeway, bridge, urban streetscape and building projects as well as with the design of park, playground and recreational facilities. Our familiarity with the issues affecting these projects and our attention to detail allow us to produce visually attractive and environmentally functional designs.

Transportation Planning

Transportation planning accommodates the safe, efficient movement of people and goods. It encompasses the evaluation, assessment, management and design of transportation facilities and services. Increasingly in the past 10 years, there has been an emphasized movement to balanced, sustainable approaches in meeting community needs. Green’s staff combines its knowledge of travel demand with land use and economic planning to assess transportation needs of a region, community or proposed site-specific project. We then develop appropriate access plans, parking plans and street designs to meet the identified needs. Projects include area wide long-range plans, strategic corridor access management plans and developing site-specific access plans for private development.
