"Building Strong Client Relationships Through Engineering Excellence"

Green is a 60-person multi-disciplined civil engineering firm located in Westford, Massachusetts. The firm, which was established by Sam Green in 1954, strives to provide responsive, high-quality service to our clients. The fact that many of our clients continue to bring us new projects is a testament to the success of our business philosophy. The majority of our projects involve infrastructure improvement in the New England area. Presently, we are performing engineering services for major transportation projects in Massachusetts, Vermont, and  Rhode Island; water, sewer and drainage infrastructure projects for municipalities and agencies in Massachusetts; and civil/site design for building projects in the Boston area. Green is a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

Engineering Excellence

Green has a reputation for providing our clients with quality engineering service and we have the awards to prove it. Green won the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts 2009 Engineering Excellence Gold Award, as well as numerous other awards and citations over the past several years. But the biggest measure of our commitment to excellence is evidenced by the amount of repeat business that we have. Over 90% of our clients are repeat customers.

Client Service and Relationships

Green's entire company culture has been built on being responsive to our clients and rising to the occasion to meet tight deadlines. Whether it's responding to an email, returning a phone call, attending a meeting, or making a critical submission on time, our entire staff, from Principal-in-Charge to Staff Engineer or Technician, understands how important it is to meet project schedules with quality deliverables. The most enjoyable part of our business comes from the relationships we have developed with our clients and the trust they have in us that we will do everything in our power to help them meet their goals.

Sustainability

Today, the terms "being green" and "being sustainable" are used interchangeably. However, while "being green" focuses mostly on energy efficiency and minimizing impacts to the environment, we believe "being sustainable" goes a step further and also includes resiliency. At Green, we practice sustainable design by considering environmental impacts, life cycle costs, and resiliency so that our projects perform efficiently over their entire lifetime through ever changing environments. We have LEED AP engineers on staff and have been Green for over 50 years!

Context Sensitive Design

The success of Green's infrastructure projects is most often derived from the use of Context Sensitive Design concepts. Our projects preserve environmental, scenic, aesthetic, historic and natural resource values and are built with minimal disruption to communities.
